Udzungwa Mountain Park
“The Galapagos of Africa”
Mainly covered with an over abundant vegetation, the park is a natural hothouse nurturing species found nowhere else on earth, a secret bank account of rare vegetable species.
Some of them have been found just recently and some are still waiting to be found and catalogued by further scientific explorations.
The masterpiece is the Sanje River waterfall, plunging 170 metres through the forest to land in a spray of mist in the valley below.
